Radio Adelaide has an excellent work experience program available to Secondary High School students. The program includes spending time with staff members in a variety of roles, including administration, training, sales, production, technical and special projects. Hours are 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except Wednesdays, when students will be required to start at 7am to be present in the on-air studio for the morning current affairs program 'Breakfast with Peter Godfrey'.

There are only limited placements available per year, so please check the dates below for suitability before submitting your application.

A few other things to check before you apply:

  1. Applications must be made using the form below and provide all the information required
  2. The student seeking work experience must fill out forms, not a parent or teacher.
  3. If you have special needs, eg you take essential medication, you need assistance with mobility or you speak and write English as a second language, please let us know. We want to make sure there is support in place so you have a good experience.

Got all that?! Now please fill out this form to make your application

Radio Adelaide’s Work Experience Co-ordinator is Ela Smith and she will be in contact with you once your application is received
